An ideal retreat for couples and families
Mays Cottages is a charming detached cottage in a secluded location towards the top of Blakeney High St. Traditionally built in local flint it has been thoughtfully restored by the current owner to combine lovely period details with all mod cons.
The spacious entrance hallway leads through to the lovely south facing living room with has a real fire, TV, DVD, surround sound, Wi-Fi and door on to the small garden. There is a sleek modern kitchen (the owner is a keen cook!) which provides seating for six, along with dishwasher, microwave, nespresso coffee machine and fridge freezer. The washing machine and dryer are tucked away in the hall so can’t disturb the evening meal! The downstairs family bathroom is fully tiled and in addition to the bath there is a separate shower cubical. Heating and hot water are provided by the oil fired central heating.
Upstairs is the pretty master bedroom (king sized bed) which has lots of storage and views across a communal green space. The second twin bedroom is decorated in cool blues giving a seaside feel and this is accessed via the third bedroom/dressing room, which is equipped with bunk beds (extra charge). Outside there is a pretty, south facing garden with bench and dining table and chairs – this is a real suntrap and a lovely spot to enjoy a meal outside!
Blakeney quay and amenities are just a five minute stroll down the High St. Mays Cottage is not suitable for pets but can accommodate one or two children in the third bedroom (bunk beds) at an extra charge – please note the twin bedroom is accessed through the third bedroom.
